Patient Account Rep (Full-time)
About the Role: The Patient Account Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our healthcare facility by managing patient accounts effectively. This position is responsible for verifying patient information and resolving billing inquiries to ensure timely payments. The representative will communicate with patients to learn reason for visit and explain their insurance benefits. By maintaining accurate records and following up on outstanding accounts, the Patient Account Representative contributes to the overall efficiency of the revenue cycle. Ultimately, this role is vital in providing a seamless experience for patients while supporting the financial operations of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of insurance verification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Responsibilities:
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to services rendered.
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing statements and insurance benefits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-5 (hours may slightly vary).

Surgery Center x-Ray Technician (Full-time)
About the Role: As an XRAY Technician at our Surgery Center, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your primary responsibility will be to operate X-ray equipment safely and effectively, ensuring that images are of the highest quality for accurate interpretation by physicians. You will collaborate closely with surgeons and other medical staff to prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process. Additionally, you will maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute significantly to the overall success of surgical procedures and patient outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an XRAY Technician from an accredited program.
- Mississippi state licensure to practice as an XRAY Technician.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a surgical or hospital setting.
- Advanced certifications in imaging modalities.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray examinations on patients as per physician orders.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain and operate X-ray equipment, performing routine checks and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of protective gear.
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide timely and accurate imaging results.
Work Schedule: Fulltime, Monday-Friday, Hours may vary.
