  • Claims Specialist


    Job Description: The purpose of this position is to ensure that all aspects of the medical billing process are performed accurately and in a timely manner specifically with Work Comp claims.

    Job Functions:

    • Review insurance payments, zero pay vouchers, and contractual adjustments as necessary to ensure appropriate reimbursement of accounts
    • Maintains accurate documents and reports following established procedures and policies

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma required
    • At least 2 years of experience in a health care billing environment
    • Exceptional typing/data entry skills
    • Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9 coding from a reimbursement perspective
    • Familiar with explanation of benefits and payment posting
    • Familiar with all types of insurance, specifically Work Comp
    • Must have good math skills
    • Knowledge of Excel and Word

    Work Schedule: M - F, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with flexibility for staying later or coming in earlier if needed.

  • Clinic Registered Nurse (Full-time)


    Job Description: The RN will be working closely with the physician to ensure that clinic runs smoothly. RN will be responsible for calling patients back to the exam rooms, assisting with procedures, scheduling surgeries, returning phone messages and other duties assigned by physician.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing
    • Must have great computer skills and the ability to multi-task
    • Would prefer to have someone with at least 2 years of orthopedic experience

    Work Schedule: M - F, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (hours may vary when physician is in clinic)

    Job Description: The PRE-OP/PACU RN is responsible for patient care before and/or after surgery.

    Requirements:

    • Pre-op/PACU or critical care experience is preferred, not required.
    • Must have current MS license.

    Work Schedule: Schedules will vary. Overnight extended care with shift diff also available.

  • Work Comp Specialist RN or LPN


    Job Description: The Work Comp Specialist will be a clinical nurse assisting the work comp patient with every aspect of care coordination. The position will serve as liaison for physicians, adjusters, case managers, attorneys and injured employees. This specialist will also recruit new companies and case managers to the practice.

    Requirements:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Detail-oriented
    • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
    • MS Licensed LPN or RN required

    Work Schedule: M-F, 8-5
