Clinic Registered Nurse (Full-time)
Job Description: The RN will be working closely with the physician to ensure that clinic runs smoothly. RN will be responsible for calling patients back to the exam rooms, assisting with procedures, scheduling surgeries, returning phone messages and other duties assigned by physician.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Must have great computer skills and the ability to multi-task
- Would prefer to have someone with at least 2 years of orthopedic experience
Work Schedule: M - F, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (hours may vary when physician is in clinic)

Occupational Therapist - SBJ Rehab Picayune (Full-time)
Job Description: The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering occupational therapy modalities and procedures as prescribed by a licensed physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Coordinates delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff, COTA.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Graduate of an approved School of Occupational Therapy
- Must have great computer skills and the ability to multi-task

Physician Assistant (Full-time)
Southern Bone & Joint Specialists, PA is looking for a highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our expanding practice. The Physician Assistant will treat and evaluate patients on a day-to-day basis, including performing comprehensive histories and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic test, etc. under the supervision of a physician. Must be willing to work flexible hours.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Health Sciences for Physician Assistants or related
- Requires Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Requires completion of the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) administered by National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Prior orthopaedic experience in a clinic setting is preferred

Physical Therapist - SBJ Rehab Picayune (Full-time)
Job Description: The Physical Therapist treats and evaluates patients on a day to day basis, is responsible for the application of current knowledge, theory, evidence and sound clinical judgment in patient management. The therapist works closely with the patient, family and other members of an interdisciplinary team to provide efficient and effective individualized patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved School of Physical Therapy
- Must be a Licensed Physical Therapist
- Must have great computer skills and the ability to multi-task
- Outpatient experience preferred, but not required

Job Description: The PRE-OP/PACU RN is responsible for patient care before and/or after surgery.
Requirements:
- Pre-op/PACU or critical care experience is preferred, not required.

Surgical Tech - PRN
Job Description: Southern Surgery Center is seeking a full-time surgical tech. The surgical tech assists the physicians during surgery.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Serves as scrub person for surgical procedures.
- Follows department procedures for scrub persons by assembling surgical packs, supplies and instruments for surgical cases and preparing operating room for surgery.
- Assures adequate amount of appropriate supplies and instrumentation are available in accordance with surgeon’s preference and counts all instruments, needles, and sponges with registered nurse according to procedure.
- Inventories and monitors instruments, sponges and needles on operative field using department count procedures.
- Adjusts instrumentation and supplies to changes in procedures and patient condition.
- Anticipates surgeon’s needs and assists surgeon by draping patients, holding/passing instruments, retractors, sutures, and medications, applying surgical dressings, suctioning and sponging surgical wounds, holding extremities, and moving patients.
- Adjusts priorities and participates in resolving problems as appropriate.
- Performs or assists in sterile preps as needed/requested by monitoring aseptic techniques of surgical team members at field, reporting and correcting breaks in sterile technique immediately, and controlling location of contaminated instruments and supplies.
- Maintains appropriate quantities of surgical supplies and equipment by restocking room with necessary equipment and supplies and apprises supervisor of special requests for surgical supplies and equipment.
- Assists with decontamination of all equipment, instruments, and supplies as necessary and assists with cleaning rooms, furniture, and equipment according to established procedures
Requirements:
- Graduate from accredited School for Surgical Technology
- Orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
Work Schedule: PRN shifts available, hours may vary. No on-call. No weekends.

Work Comp Specialist
Job Description: The Work Comp Specialist will assist the work comp patient with every aspect of care coordination. The position will serve as liaison for physicians, adjusters, case managers, attorneys and injured employees. This specialist will also recruit new companies and case managers to the practice.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- MS Licensed LPN, RN or Medical Case Management experience required
Work Schedule: M-F 8-5

X-Ray Technician (Full-time)
Job Description: The X-ray Tech will be working closely with the nurse and physician to ensure that his clinic runs smoothly. Tech will be responsible for taking patient x-rays, helping to call patients back to the exam rooms and additional duties assigned by physician.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of radiology
- Must have a current and up to date license
- Must have great computer skills and the ability to multi-task
- Would prefer to have someone with at least 2 years of orthopedic experience
