  • RECEPTIONIST/JOINT REGISTRAR


    Job Description: The Receptionist/Joint Registrar will assist with all Business Office duties. He/she will welcome all patients and visitors to the facility. He/she will serve as a source of information and communications link for patients, visitors and facility personnel. He/she will be responsible for entering all data into the Joint Registries. Responsible to the Office Manager.




    Job Duties:

    • Works the front counter answering the telephone, checking in and registering patients.
    • Schedules pain management procedures.
    • Obtains HOOS/KOOS joint registry information from Total Joint patients and enters this information into the joint registries (BCBS/AJRR).
    • Makes up chart packets as needed.
    • Files scanned charts into patient’s EHR.
    • Straighten up waiting room (discard trash and straighten magazines).
    • Refill coffee and supplies as needed in the waiting room.
    • Participates in pertinent educational programs and facility meetings.
    • Performs other office functions as directed by Office Manager.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have completed high school or equivalent.
    • Must be able to communicate the English language, both written and verbal.
    • Be a mature, pleasant adult, possessing good communication skills.
    • Have an understanding of the Health Insurance process.
    • Must have knowledge of computer systems/operations.
    • Must possess good interpersonal skills to interact with patients to facilitate information gathering.
    • Must possess the physical ability and perceptive acuity (e.g. visual, hearing) to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect clerical functions.
    • Must have or obtain CPR certification.

    Mental Demands: Ability to perform as a team member, cooperate with others, follow directions precisely, demonstrate initiative, set priorities, and function under stress.


    Physical Demands: Must be able to frequently sit, stand, and/or walk for up to 8 hours. Must be able to bend, kneel, reach, twist, crawl, and climb. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull greater than 30 pounds. Must be able to use both hands and feet at all times.

    Job Description: The Security Guard works to maintain safe and secure environment for the Clinic, its employees and patients.




    Job Duties:

    • Make regular rounds of the interior and exterior of the Clinic
    • Respond to staff calls for assistance.
    • Complete Incident Report forms
    • Distribute money bags to employees before clinic and take them up at the end of the day
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 21 years of age
    • Must have a Security Guard Firearms Permit and must have your own firearm
    • Maintenance experience is a plus

    Work Schedule: Schedule may vary. M – F, day and/or evening hours, rotation of Saturdays when needed and possibility of staying overnight when a patient is present.
